Fall Reopening &
Information for Students & Employees
During the week of 6/5/22 - 6/11/22, we received reports that no members of the Clayton State University community (students and employees) tested positive for COVID-19.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the University System of Georgia issued new guidance concerning face coverings and social distancing for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Based on this guidance, the following updates have been made to COVID-19 related protocols on campus. Please take a moment to review the following information before returning to campus for fall session classes.
CDC guidance indicates that the vaccines available are safe and effective in protecting individuals against the COVID-19 virus. For the health and safety of the entire campus community, we strongly encourage everyone in the campus community to be vaccinated. University Health Services will continue to offer vaccination appointments throughout the summer months and information on appointments can be found at http://kathleencurry.com/coronavirus/covid-19-vaccine
For the health and safety of the campus community, we strongly encourage you to wear a face covering during class, during in-person office hours and while inside campus facilities regardless of vaccination status.
Per CDC guidance, offices such as health clinics may still require face coverings.
Individuals on campus are strongly encouraged to continue to practice social distancing.
Members of the campus community who have been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19 should continue to use the reporting form.
For summer session, all classroom assignments and schedules will remain as posted in the Schedule of Classes.
The academic calendar for fall 2021 is posted. Fall semester courses begin on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
All office returned to normal operations on Thursday, July 1. For more Information on office schedules, please consult the departmental website found at http://kathleencurry.com/offices-departments.
